Worthy of a Teenager

Updated: May 9, 2021

When we moved into our new house, the first room I had to tackle was my oldest son's bathroom. While I usually put redoing the kids bathroom at the end of the remodel list; when it came to this was absolutely the first room I went after!

I am not one to talk down about a previous homeowners style, but let's just say I wasn't feeling this vibe.

So who doesn't love a black hexagon tile for a boy's bathroom? My oldest will be a teenager soon and he needed a bathroom that would design wise, make it through to adulthood. I love how the room turned out, a modern farmhouse feel. I also loved adding the half glass shower frame. I am not a big fan of shower curtains, especially in kids rooms. They tend to collect water and end up in the tub soaked and covered in mildew. The half glass approach gives the shower a more sophisticated feel and functionally still keeps water off the floors. Amen!
